Meet Nick

Founder / Gamer at heart / Car person by choice

I made the shirts I wanted to wear.

I’m Nick. Hobby Fuel is for people whose hobbies grew up with them, even when life got louder, schedules got fuller, and free time got shorter.

The short version

Gaming roots. Garage habits. Grown-up shirts.

The short version

I didn’t really stop being a gamer. I just became an adult with a calendar.

Games were a big part of how I grew up: shared screens, late nights, usernames that stuck, and the kind of inside jokes you can’t explain to anyone who wasn’t there.

I play less now, but that part of me never disappeared. Cars became another version of the same thing: the details, the tiny upgrades, the questionable noises, and the long way home for no practical reason. Hobby Fuel lives where those worlds meet real adult life.

01 / Then

One more game.

Old saves, co-op nights, familiar soundtracks, and references that still land years later.

02 / Now, too

One more drive.

Long routes home, clean details, small upgrades, and a machine that feels a little more like yours.

03 / The result

Something worth wearing.

Apparel that carries the reference without looking like merchandise.

What I care about

Not louder. More personal.

01

Recognizable, not obvious.

The best references feel like a quiet nod between people who get it.

02

Made to leave the house.

These should feel at home on a coffee run, at the office, or leaning over an engine bay.

03

Specific beats generic.

Real hobbies have texture, history, and tiny details. The designs should too.

A note from Nick

I’m not trying to build a faceless T-shirt store. I’m building a brand around the things that still light people up, especially after life gets busy.
